About an hour outside of Seattle is Wallace Falls. It is an easy and fun hike that gets crowded in the summer. The hike starts by walking under high voltage power lines which you can hear cracking and buzzing for a while.
Shortly after that you turn into a young hemlock forest that really makes you feel like you are in the northwest.
There are lots of waterfalls and it looks a bit like Hawai’i. There is also a lot of access for fishing, so look out for more posts about that!
